This splint has adjustable Velcro straps, so it is comfortable to use. The splint has metal staves on the top and bottom, so I believe it has the capability to help straighten my hammer toe over time. I had a bit of difficulty putting it on by myself, but my son helped by holding the toe as straight as possible while wrapping the Velcro strap across the top to keep the toe held firmly in place. I have used finger splints every night while sleeping for some time (that are similar to this toe splint) to straighten arthritic fingers. They helped tremendously, so I believe this toe splint will be equally as helpful with my hammer toe.

I have short toes so it is a little more difficult to get it to stay on, but it is great quality and value. I recommend!

I love these, they help with my overlapping toes so much. Plus they help with the pain. Have ordered more so that I can also wear them at night. Have had five foot surgeries so I needed these badly.
