You can barely tap it without it falling over. You can’t hold it in your hand either to solve the first problem or obviously the sound won’t resonate. Sound quality is very poor too compared to a crystal singing bowl.

Very nice! The mallet has a rubber coating on one end and wood on the other end. So you can create different tones. Rings beautifully with the wooden end when you walk it around the rim.
