I bought a few boxes, because I was not sure if I wanted the Iridescent or the regular. Eventually, I used both. I did like the Iridescent better for the tree. I like it to sparkled. I have a 8ft Costco artificial Christmas tree and used two boxes. I have had it for approx 4 years and flocking the tree made it look brand NEW! It came out spectacular! It takes time to do the process. I used YouTube for guidance. It was worth it!

Took fake tree (in sections) hung it upside down. Sprayed tree limbs with water FIRST! Then shook flocking with a colander (1-2 c. at a time), over the wet areas, and again lightly sprayed the flocked areas. Let dry 1 hour. Repeated process! Then turned my tree right side-up. This is when I decided a BLIZZARD was forecast for this past Christmas. But, if you live in other areas you might just want a light frosting! I ordered w/ the OPAL! (Ah, lay down a plastic sheet or 2 overlapped big contractor trash bags cut open to make ground covered)

2nd time buying this product. I purchased a real 9ft tree to flock myself and had plenty left over to flock and 3 ft artificial tree. I use a sifter, collander and spray bottle. Very easy to apply and clean up. Can add as much or as little as you desire all over tree. I even did a second coat in some areas to make it thicker. I have used on both real and artificial trees
