I am always in need of a mallet for various household tasks, and somehow all the ones I bought grew legs and wandered off, so I have gotten one to stash in my personal tool kit. This one has a nice padded 16-ounce head securely fastened to a rubber-clad fiberglass handle. Where the head joins the handle, they even covered it with a little rubber sleeve to help maintain the integrity of the joint. It is nicely balance, the head is utterly smooth (so it won’t mar), and there’s even a hanging hole in the handle. I shall name it Mjolnir.

I have a problem in my life. I lose rubber mallets. Whenever I need one, I can never find one. Whenever I find one, I try to set it aside somewhere where I’ll remember, then when the time comes, it’s gone. My house is like a black hole for rubber mallets.
Now I have this awesome 3-pack, which gives me 3x the chances to lose them.
These are nice mallets in well-thought-out sizes. I like the set. They’re well-made, and they work great for banging against things.
