   Good size sharpener for a standard pencil, came with an extra sharpener works on two double A batteries.

   This pencil sharpener works very well, sharpening pencils to a fine tip without chewing up the wood or breaking the lead. It works quickly and smoothly, and I’m so very pleased. As an artist, I use pencils like crazy and the sharpness matters. This is the best I’ve found so far, and that’s compared to many that are way more expensive. It runs on two AA batteries that are easy to install. The entire unit is about the size of a tennis ball, so easily fits in my backpack, and travels with me. Fairly quiet operation, too, compared to most electric pencil sharpeners. Recommend 10/10
