   A really nice surprise!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect after watching youtube videos of others experiences of buying violins from temu as many claimed people should not even bother for students. However, I am pleasantly surprised how nice it sounds for a beginner violin. It did take a few days to get the bridge and strings set to my liking and at first I found the pegs were slipping a bit, but it was likely due to the newness of the strings. I’ve been practicing for a week now and it has been staying in tune. The other tip I would have for people starting out with this violin would be to rosin their bow for about 3 minutes the first time around. I was also happy with all of the accessories and case that comes with it. I hope to update in a few months as I progress.
