This window lock attaches easily to the track of my window sill and with a few simple turns to the right, it locks in place keeping the window immobile. This makes me feel more secure and I can take the stick out of it’s place now. I recommend this and I’m going to order more

Ordered these for sliding patio and basement windows.
At first I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work as I thought it was supposed to be tightened to squeeze closed on the frame and slider bar (which doesn’t work), but my husband figured it out that the way it works is by expanding and applying pressure to the front and back of the window frame. Works great.

My OLD ALUMINUM windows don’t have many options for these “types” of locks.
The first type I bought, didn’t work!! But these are FREAKING AWESOME, because you have an option to tighten either outwardly or inwardly!!! So they have DUAL DIRECTIONAL locking capability!!
