Great for task completion or Pomodoro-type activities. I am ADHD & also process things in my mind in visually, in pictures, rather than words, so this timer has been a godsend. It is helping me stay on task & learn how finite time is. The visual color helps me identify the amount of time I have left with a mere glance.

this timer is easy to use; just twist the knob to the time you want to count down and let go. Watch the blue area shrink as time flies; reset early if you don’t want to hear the beeps. Two switches in the back (down from the included batteries) control alarm time (3 sec or 60 sec) and volume (softer or louder); these also work as described, but I’d appreciate additional options for both (e.g. vibrate, visual, or other alarm to notify me without disturbing others, and alarm length between 3 and 60 seconds, not just the extremes). Display is large, high contrast, readable. I like the set-knob, but because of it, don’t look to this timer for precision (e.g. alarm after 12 min 52 sec). Don’t look for an on-off switch either; it’s not needed. Set knob is mechanical, so battery is only needed for beeps. (I like this more than my (more portable) digital timer, since I don’t need the stopwatch function, because I don’t need to press a button 30 times to set 30 minutes.)

Fantastic product and so simple for my 7 year old that has ADHD, ODD and receptive language process disorder to use to complete 1 task at a time without taking all day anymore. The size is perfect for him and the dial is easy to turn to the right time every time. Highly recommend and will purchase another one.

i love this. i thought it had said it was a silent timer, maybe my mistake, but it does has a sound with the timer is finished. not too loud but perfect
