   Holy cow! I’ve had these for a while, but just now polled the cord out to see how loud it was. Very loud, very impressive. I will definitely carry one of these with me on walks and give one to my daughter for the same purpose. I do worry a bit that if you keep this in your purse, you could accidentally pull out the pin in the middle of the grocery store and scare you and everyone else out of their skin. But it is a great personal alarm.
