   When I opened the box.. there was a strong smell. Immediately I washed the umbrella in dawn detergent and hot water.. I opened it and let it dry the smell is gone now. The button to open and close work great .. The umbrella is built well.. it is worth the price.. Haven’t tried in the rain yet but I am confident it will work as expected
