Compared to my previous shower head this one is so much nicer. However, the shower head itself seems to be made of plastic. At first, I thought it was a metal finish, but upon detail inspection, it is a plastic construction with a metal look finish. Only time will tell how well it will hold up. The shower output is nice and strong. Comes with two water-saving valves. One of the valves at 1.75 gallons per minute and a 2 gallons per minute. I’m using the lower gallon-per-minute option and still feels like a strong water output. Especially compared to my previous 1.5 gallons per minute showerhead. The instructions could always be more detailed, that’s something I’ve noticed with all made-in-China products. Just take your time and don’t rush when setting it up and you should be okay. The water filtration device is just basically some beads that go inside the shower head. The package comes with some extra beads, I’m guessing the beads disintegrate over time, and I feel that once that happens the water outflow will be stronger and larger because I’m guessing the beads also add some resistance to the water flow generally. I’m not sure how much filtration the beads produce; the description on the Amazon webpage made it sound like you’ll be bathing in “soft water”. But soft water filtration is usually more elaborate and requires a larger filter footprint. I doubt these beads inside the shower handle have any filter effect.
I do like the feature to switch between the different water flows. Is a button vs the other showers where you have to use two hands to dial the different settings. With this shower, you just press the button and are able to do it with one hand.
Overall I do like this product and enjoy using it every day. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to a friend.

I’ve been wanting a filtered shower attachment for quite awhile. So far I really like using it and it has made giving my dogs a quick shower much easier.
I like the settings and it was easy to install. I haven’t noticed a difference in my hair or skin being less dry but I’ll give that more time.

Installed quickly, though I used plumbers thread sealing tape to ensure no leaks. Seems to put out great pressure compared to previous shower head. Love the click button switch as well. Overall, very happy.

This showerhead checks all of the boxes. It looks nice, is easy to install and the water output/pressure is spot on. The large face of this is absolutely great. It provides a wide spray area and you don’t have to be standing directly under it or at a certain angle to get ample spray. I haven’t used the hose part yet, but it’s nice and long and will definitely come in handy when bathing my dog. She loves baths, but getting her to stay in one spot is impossible. With this long hose, no more trying to corral her to one area.

We have very hard artesian well water and have tried several filtered showerheads with spotty success. Most of them filtered okay but were hard to install, leaked or plugged up very soon. Not so with this CRTBETLIF filtered showerhead. If I can install it, anyone can install it. It took about twenty minutes, but would have taken even less time if I hadn’t installed a hose backwards.
A note of caution so you won’t make the same mistake. Make sure that the round, not hexagonal hose end is toward the showerhead or it won’t fit into the holder. I didn’t and had to unscrew the hose and reattach it the right way. This kind of thing is why my husband raises his eyebrows when I tell him I’m going to install something around the house.
I used Teflon tape from the git-go, because it’s been my experience that you usually end up having to do that anyhow no matter how well made anything that has water hoses is, and there were no leaks. Neither have any developed over the time we’ve used it.
There’s a really good range of flow with the one-handed adjustment and I love the large area the spray covers. Our old showerhead was stationary and I didn’t think I’d be using the handheld option, but have found it really convenient for hair washing at the side of the tub and for rinsing my hair and back thoroughly while showering. Nice for baths too and for dog washing when my “granddog” visits for the weekend.
We’ve noticed an appreciable difference in the softness of the water and notice that soap lathers better and rinses off more easily. We even suspect that our skin is less dry since we’ve been using it.
This is a quality item and I expect that it will give us many years of good use.
