   The GOOLOO GT160 Tire Inflator is equipped with a high-capacity 7500mAh rechargeable battery. Since it is battery operated, you do not need to have an external power source and you can operate it without worrying about having to use additional cords. As a bonus feature, the built-in battery can be used as a power bank, allowing you to charge your personal digital devices via USB.

   There is a large LED screen on the front of the device that displays the tire pressure in three measurement units: PSI, KPA, and BAR. You can select your preference between two lighting modes, making it suitable for use during nighttime emergencies or low-light conditions.

   In addition to the manual inflation mode, there are 4 preset inflation modes available. These modes are tailored towards different objects that you wish to inflate (e.g. bicycle wheels, motorcycles, cars or balls).

   The GT160 includes an auto shut-off feature that stops the inflation process when the tire pressure reaches the preset value. You can use this so you don’t have to worry about checking the capacity of what you are inflating.

   They included a storage bag to keep all of the components neat and organized. Also included in the box, in addition to the main inflation unit itself, is a small USB cable for charging, the hose, and 3 different attachments.

   I will note that the device is loud, but since you will usually use this outdoors it is not a major drawback.

   Overal, I think this is a handy device that any car owner would want to have available to them in the case of an emergency or even if they find their tire pressure happens to be low. The additional features including the flash light and the ability to charge devices give you that extra piece of mind.

   I am a car guy – lifelong car guy. I have a LOT of tools. I do NOT fall for gimmick tools. I have a big air compressor. A 1951 Devilbiss two stage that I restored myself. I am into air compressors, and kind of snobbish about my air stuff. Yet these GOOLOO portable pumps are so good that I have ended up two of these little gems. They are just very very handy. I keep them in my vehicle and my wife’s vehicle, along with a tubeless tire repair kit. They get the job done with no fuss and have a lot of extra bells and whistles, like

   #1 VERY VERY ACCURATE – I checked pressures on this device against a laboratory grade Ashcroft 6″ dial industrial pressure gauge. (google it – Ashcroft is the top of the top for analog gauges) My particular Ashcroft is a gauge that is manufacturer warranted to be accurate within 1/2 P.S.I. from 0-60 P.S.I.

   When checked, the GOOLOO pump was exactly in agreement with my analog Ashcroft…as in “perfect”. That’s very important. This device will outperform your 3.99 pencil type gauge. Set a pressure, put it on the tire, it will fill it to exactly that pressure and auto shut-off. Most people run around with tire pressures way way off, and often too low. Sucks gas, wears out tires, ruins handling and is a downright safety issue. It has never been easier to get your pressures right that with an automatic pump which is highly accurate and can top off your tires with virtually no effort in a few minutes.

   #2 Handy backup battery pack. IF you become stranded and have a dead battery in your vehicle and a a dead cell phone battery, this has a convenient USB port that functions as a charging station. Given the size of the internal battery, this device could save your bacon both ways – inflating your tire AND recharging your phone.

   #3 Handy accessories. Does tires great, but also has a sports-ball needle included. No more guessing about the pressure in that football. Maybe the NFL should get a few of these 🙂

   #4 Handy and reasonably bright LED flashlight. Nothing amazing, eh? Yeah, until you’re stuck on a lonely dark road in the middle of the night with a flat you just fixed and are airing up. That flashlight will prove to be amazingly handy. Trust me.

   #5 So you’re airing up your tire every couple weeks because you can’t find that slow leak. Do you want to do that at a air-bandit at a sketchy convenience store? Or, do you want to do that at your work or in your driveway? Just hook the GOOLOO to your tire, set a pressure, press go, and get in your car while it automatically airs up the tire. You tell me? Kneeling down at an air-bandit, dropping coins in every five minutes? Or precise air pressures in all tires from the comfort of your front seat.

   Five Stars – highly recommended. I have two of them!

   This tire inflator is quite compact and is solid. Build quality is very good. The LED screen is a decent size and is easy to read. The buttons are responsive. It has a flashlight that has a second mode that blinks. It is meant to be upright and there are rubber feet but at times it makes sense to put it on its side.

   It has 4 presets for SUV, car, bike and ball; however, it also defaults back to these after the unit turns off and on. The presets also include the unit so while it has various units, for car, it always goes back to BAR. I am used to PSI, so I have to change it to PSI each time I use it. The inflator will automatically stop once it reaches the set value. It does show the current pressure of the tire as well.

   This inflator did inflate my car tire fairly quickly in about 70 seconds from 27 to 34 PSI. However, it struggled a bit with my minivan tire taking an average of 2 minutes and 10 seconds from 28 to 34 PSI. While reasonable, I recently tested another tire inflator that did the minivan in 70 seconds though it was a bit bigger. The tire inflator when upright moves around and is not stable when operating. On its side, it is stable but there are no rubber feet there so it might scratch up the surface more easily. In terms of sound, it is loud but not too noisy.

   The tube is not too long at 19” but because the inflator is upright, it helps. I do like that the connector to the inflator is twisted on and it has a rubber covering. The tube does get really hot and the rubber covering helps while the end with the metal connector does not get hot right away and starts to get warm after extended use.

   The inflator can also be used as a power bank and though the performance is not fast, it is reasonable. I would only use it in an emergency anyway. I only used the tire inflator for limited amount of time while testing it and it is down to one bar after starting out at a full 4 bars.

   Overall, this tire inflator has a quality build and would be a good option if you wanted something that is compact and has reasonable performance for its size.

   I received this air compressor/inflator a few weeks ago and I’m VERY happy with it. Here’s why…

   It’s easy to use, fast and accurate. It has a digital display that shows the current tire pressure and the target pressure. You can set the desired pressure and it will automatically stop when it reaches it. It also has a bright LED light that helps you see in the dark and is placed on top of the unit so that you can point it at the object you’re inflating and see it, genius! We received a low tire pressure warning on our dashboard while driving in the Ontario countryside at 10 pm one evening and were able to stop, connect the device up and read the pressure for each tire SO easily – we discovered no issues.

   It comes with three different nozzles that can inflate car tires, bike tires, balls, air mattresses and more. It’s compact and lightweight, so you can store it in your trunk or garage.

   It’s a great tool to have for emergencies or road trips. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable and convenient tire inflator – especially from the perspective of someone who used this in a potential emergency situation!!

   So, it’s a nice size and quicker than other pumps I have tried, but the screen is so dim outside that it is completely black in direct sunlight. Nearly unusable. When you shade the screen you can just make out the numbers. Works fine at night or in an indoor setting, but unusable in direct sunlight. Disappointing for the price of this product.

   This is great in a pinch, but it’s not for regular use. We used it when we had a nail in one of the tires and had to make it to a repair shop, we were able to inflate the tire enough to drive on it. It’s not powerful enough to go from flat to inflated however.

    So far I’ve used this pump to fill up some low tires on my UTV. It’s not a fast pump but it did get the job done. I can’t imagine pumping up a truck tire with this pump. It’s great for sports balls and bike tires … it’s passable on the low pressure tires on an ATV/UTV.

    The display is not bright enough. Outside on a sunny day it’s impossible to see … even in the shade on a bright day I had to shade the display with my hand to be able to read it.

     The GOOLOO GT160 comes in a very nice high end package that indicates it is a quality product. The unit looks great and is a nice addition to my tools and equipment that I carry with me in my camper van. I like that it is compact and easily stores away when not in use. It is cordless with a builtin 7500mAh battery that is recharged with the 9V/2A USB-C input port (cable included), so great while I’m on the road, as I can recharge while driving. It is also an emergency portable battery bank as there is a 5V/2A USB-A output port and an emergency flashlight (great for inflating at night) with the builtin LED light that is bright and can also flash to attract attention.

    This Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor is easy to use, held in one hand while settings are selected with the other. It is a powerful and loud air pump (most are), and inflates car tires in an emergency.

    The LCD once turned on with a long press of the power button shows current battery status and preset Tire Pressure Values.

    Pressing the settings button shows the following inflation modes:
    BAR 2.5 for SUV
    BAR 2.4 for Car
    45 PSI for Bikes
    8 PSI for Balls
    55 KPA

    These values can be changed with the + and – buttons, short pressing the power button starts/stops inflation and once value is reached, will automatically stop, very easy and straightforward to use. It will also auto shutoff in 30 seconds saving battery power.

    This is an important tool that everyone should have in their vehicle incase of an emergency. I personally travel alot in my camper van and have been in the middle of nowhere in the deserts of the western USA, so happy to have this with me.

    It will also be useful for my bikes and scooter tires.

     The GooLoo GT160 tire inflator isn’t the smallest inflator I’ve seen but it’s still less than a quarter of the size of my Ryobi P747. It’s really insane how they are able to fit a pump motor and batteries into something so compact. Despite its size, it still packs enough juice to inflate/top-up all four tires with battery life to spare. Unlike other smaller units, this one works fast. Nearly as fast as my gigantic P747!

    I like that it’s also very easy and intuitive to operate. You have your usual modes like “SUV”, “car”, “bike”, and “ball”. They also include various different nozzles for these use cases. It can display pressure in psi, bar, and kpa. Sadly, no kg/cm3 if that matters to you. The +/- buttons allow you to adjust to your desired pressure. Quick press the power button again to start. Simple! The unit also comes with an emergency LED light which you can turn on with a dedicated button. It’s usable in emergencies, especially to find those black tire valve caps in the dark. You can switch between solid or flashing.

    During the testing, I love how effortless it is to attach the nozzle. Easier than threading for sure. I also like that there is barely any air leakage when attaching to the tire valve. I also love the easy to read LCD screen that you can read from practically any angle. My Ryobi P747’s screen is garbage by comparison. As for accuracy, it is excellent and within margin or error against my digital gauge.

    As for build quality, I find it to be excellent with good use of matte plastics and minimal use of glossy surfaces aside from the screen. It feels solid and the buttons are responsive. The unit can be charged by USB-C at 9V/2A (18W) and it can also act as a power bank and output 5V/2A.

    At the time of review, the unit retails for $99.99 with a $20 coupon. Not exactly the least expensive but it also performs better than most compact inflators. By comparison, a Ryobi P737 costs 49.99 without a battery and a Ryobi P747 costs 64.99 without a battery!

    Overall, I think the GooLoo GT160 is an amazing portable inflator with plenty of power. I love being able to snap on the hose nozzle versus threading. It’s also impressively accurate. A great buy for sure!

    I didn’t really know what to expect with this little thing. I have to say it greatly exceeded my expectations. Inflates tires much faster than i thought it would. I have an Acura with 215/50R17 tires and it added 1 psi about every 10 seconds. Definitely recommend.
