Size 14 fit my tall/slim 12 year old daughter (5’6” 90 lbs).
Athleta and Lululemon skirts are too short for her, but the length is good on this skirt (and price is much better).

This is a nice skirt, but unfortunately didn’t work for our daughter. Her school does not allow ‘athletic/sports’ type fabric for uniforms, and this material definitely has the look and feel of athletic material.

I love the fabric, it’s cool and is the type that in my experience doesn’t fade in the wash, nor shrink. My daughter is 8 the 12 fits but very “exact “ from the butt/hip area I would say is just a bit snug , and when tucking in a shirt it’s just too tight , so I ordered her a 12plus , and the plus is way too big . I like the style and fabric so much that I’m going to try one last time by ordering a size up which would be a 14 instead of the plus , hoping that one fits better.
Before ordering I wished there was a picture showing just how much bigger the “plus” size was , now that I had to get both to see. Here’s the picture , hopefully it helps someone.

These are my favorites skirts for my daughters school. They are easy to wear, you don’t have to iron them and they fit right out of the dryer. I have 4 of them and they are the BEST especially when they go on sale, they are excellent value for money.

My daughter was quite disappointed when she discovered that she had to wear a “uniform” skort and not a “unicorn” skort to kindergarten. But she was happy with this cute and very comfortable skort.
