So when I purchased this I was like wow 356 LED!! amazing this would work great for such a great price.. But once I received it, it was a bit small so I know there wasnt 356 LEDs. So i went back to the page and looked at the lower description to see that there was only 178 LEDs they combined the two which sucks.

Nice lights for just a little directed light. Its nice where they stay dim until something walks by and then they light up. I have them right by my walkways which should also help with safety. Easy to use and install.

The light comes with decent hardware for mounting and went up on the wall easily. The three brightness modes are interesting because I can’t fathom why someone would want anything other than the brightest setting. Maybe to get more battery life, but mine works all night on the high setting. The motion detection is good and it throws a good amount of light. Great for anywhere you need light.

These are deceptively small in size, with the box seeming waay too small for two of these…..
Yet, there are two of `em, and they are quite well-designed and easy to install.
I wanted them for a dark space on our back deck, between the grill area and the house….
You can figure that coming through with a platter of fresh-off-the-grill steaks is not the time to stumble!
Out-of-the-box, these took about 4 minutes with a screwdriver to set into the wood posts on the deck.
I had decided to go with the third option mode; Motion-Detected ‘On’….shut-off after 15 seconds.
It was somewhat late in the day when I installed the light arrays, and the solar cells had only a couple of hours of direct sunlight to charge, but I thought that would give me enough for test lighting at night…..
They did! I will say that it seemed that the motion sensor was a little bit less sensitive on one side, but overall –from every approach angle- the sensor DID activate the lights as planned. I placed them at waist height to illuminate the deck–but stay out of my eyes–and they function exactly as I wanted.
I will keep an eye on the performance, and should anything change I will update this review accordingly.

Looks can be deceiving, especially when a vendor’s product image is simply photo-scanned into a staged, stock image scene. For a real-life size comparison to benefit other Amazon customers, we’re sharing images of these security lights installed in our carport. As our video and images reflect, these security lights are smaller than expected, but they are attractive and the light settings are bright enough for our preferences. We like the 270° wide-angle reach and a choice from three lighting modes. We weren’t looking for super bright lights, and these are just fine as solar back-up lights for the open end of our carport, which sits under the desert sun in a state where we receive upwards of 350 days of sunshine year ’round… so certainly, charging should be a problem. We’re just hoping the plastic can withstand our desert weather. These were pretty easy to install; a female senior citizen installed them both in concrete block within 20 minutes in triple-digit temps, so there’s a good example of grace and ease for you.

This 2 pack solar light are very easy to mount and very bright. Note that each piece has 178 LEDs and for 2 pack the total is 356 LEDs. (I counted them from outside and confirmed that). It works very well as a fence light for me, as it lights up the front and the two sides. The motion sensor works fine. It has three working modes. I prefer dimmed from dust to dawn and brightness when motion detected. The quality of the casing are very good, well sealed for water resistant. Mounting is by two screws , very easy. Overall I am very satisfied with these lights and would surely recommend.

LED’s are awesome, right? Remember incandescent bulbs, and how you’d have to change them all the time, or how much power they drew? If you had a solar-powered incandescent bulb, it would give you half the light of an LED and use three times as much power. LED’s are fantastic, and that’s why this light is fantastic. It’s super simple too, only about 6 inches wide, with a solar panel on top, the array of LED’s on the front, angled downwards, the motion sensor in the front face, with a button right below it. The button switches between 4 options — off, night-light mode, medium-light mode, and full-bright mode. Off means off, that’s simple enough. Night-light mode is what I call the next one. It’s always on very dim, and when it detects motion, it lights up the neighborhood. Medium-light mode is similar, except the always-on light is a little brighter than the night-light mode. The full-bright mode is off until it detects motion, then goes full-brightness. I played around with the other modes, but I just left it on full-bright mode, as that seems to be the most useful in my case. I mounted it on the outside of our deck, so it’ll detect motion underneath it. So far, it’s working great, no complaints. I do hope the HOA is cool with it though, I didn’t ask their opinion.

These are wonderful for lighting dark area. The light is very bright and they are made extremely well. This is a really good buy, they work great!
