The sunshade fits in our SUV, and installing it is easy. We have to arrange it a bit because we have a dash cam on our rear view mirror but other than that it blocks out the sun well enough. The leather case also helps keep the umbrella clean and safe when stowed away.

I love this thing and will be getting one for my other car too. It works as a sunscreen as well as any other but it folds up and fits in its very compact sleeve better than any other. I don’t have a console, but I’m sure it will fit in most. I formerly had the accordion type that attached to each side of the windshield. That was a little more convenient and there was no need at all for storage. However, it also created a pretty big blind spot on both sides. All in all, I like this one better. I gave it a 4 for sturdiness because if you were to handle it roughly, you might damage an arm. That is not to say it’s particularly fragile though. It’s actually pretty well balanced as to strength to weight.

This sunshade fits my car perfectly and does a great job of keeping the sun off of my dash. It opens easily, slides into place and stays up on its own because of the handle and shaft. I love how it opens and closes like an umbrella which makes it easy to store in the car without taking up much room and the included cover prevents it from being damaged. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased a size Medium for our GMC Terrain. I purchased this because we have black leather interior and the seats get very hot in the sun. This sun shade is compact, like an umbrella, and opens up into an oblong shape. Typically I open it up and just wedge it into the windshield. It is super easy use, it stays put, and shades what I need it to. I’ve been using this item for about a month and a half and it has held up well so far. It also came with it’s own umbrella case, so that I can store it away when I’m not using it.

I wish this was the width stated in the description. It is too small for my large SUV. The description lists the width as 57″ for the medium size. In reality, it is only 54″. I’d try the large, but it is out of stock. The medium worked fine, but there is a large margin that is not covered. Also, be aware that if you have a dash camera adhered to the windshield, it will be left on the sunny side of the reflective barrier.

In the past, I’ve always bought car shades thinking this is the time I’m actually going to use a shade to keep my car from turning into a volcano, but then it’s such a hassle to put up and take down that never end up using it. This window shade is so easy to put up and take down that I use it constantly!
