I’ve definitely been using these so it they look a bit off with the shape as advertised, it’s because of that. I get them 😉

These are excellent quality! They don’t come with instructions, so if you’ve never used wool dryer balls before, definitely be sure to look it up to get the most out of these because for this price, an extra step is worth it! Whether you use cloth diapers, or just have wanted to take a more natural approach to laundry (that also reduces drying time) these are completely worth it! We have high a HE high capacity washer and dryer set, because we are a family of six (and three pets), and these help out tremendously! With (at least) one large load of laundry a day, I put my favorite laundry-safe essential oils on them 1-4 drops each, every 7-10 days because I may not like softener buildup on clothes, but I still like a little boost of scent. Make sure you allow the drops to dry after application for like ten minutes, before starting a load with them, because some essential oils are flammable. Using fabric softener and dryer sheets, causes buildup on clothes. That buildup is what makes clothes stink when sweaty (especially when combined with hard water buildup). You can add borax to soften the wash water and help remove hard water buildup in clothes, and replace liquid softener with white vinegar for the rinse to keep hard water from staying in clothes. Replacing dryer sheets with the wool dryer balls is the next better step! No waxy buildup, but they still work as well at reducing static, with the bonus of reduced drying time. I feel like they actually work better at reducing wrinkles though, so one more point for team wool dryer balls! If you’re doing this to start cloth diapering, use this for all your regular laundry too, and be sure to clean all the residue off the inside of your machine or it will reduce the absorbency of the diapers.
I hope this helps!
