Makes ice super fast. Great that you can adjust the thickness of the cubes. You have to break the cubes apart but can be done easily with the scoop.

I needed a decent ice maker since my rental had no ice maker in the fridge. When it arrived, the packaging was so well done I had to ask for help getting it out so I could start making ice. I followed the setup instructions, let the maker settle on the counter, filled the reservoir with cold filtered water and within the hour I had 2 full baskets of ice. I spend 1 day a week making ice & bagging it as it fills so the cubes don’t melt and freeze together. I love this machine, the cubes on #6 freeze solid and last for almost 12hrs. in my insulated cup.

I chose this ice maker based on two of its features: measurements and clear ice.
Unfortunately neither of these criteria were met.
The listed size (9.92″D x 14.6″W x 14.17″H) apparently does not include the the lid covering the water compartment (which, btw was cracked out of the box), making it too tall to sit on my counter. I have a 15″ clearance from counter to cupboard and cannot slide this under the cabinet. This is a problem because I now have nowhere to put this big heavy thing.
Secondly, while it seems to work well making ice, the cubes are NOT CLEAR s claimed. Not even close. Ever. I tried different settings, filling with cold water, etc. Never clear. If I was seeking cloudy ice, I would have chosen an icemaker half the price.
Still, if I had a place to put this thing, it would not be that big of a deal. But since I do not have space, I am going to have to return it.

Our fridge is old and was not making clean ice. We ordered this ice maker and could not be happier with it. The ice is thick and longer lasting in drinks than the bullet ice from other countertop ice makers. The price difference was not much compared to the bullet ice machines and absolutely worth it for the better quality ice it makes. We took this camping and had more than enough ice all weekend for our needs. Great purchase!

Brought this because we are always out of ice from my ice maker.
initial ice takes a little time but after that ice is made pretty fast.
fill it turn it on and forget about it. Unit is quiet. Ice does come out stuck together.
I just place it in the bag and break it up before placing it in the freezer.

This ice machine is great! Makes a ton! Although it has made a loud noise a few times, not sure what that was about? But it’s still kicking out ice. Noise stopped after i powered it off and turned it back on.

I was looking at every ice maker from $100-$1000. I bought this one because it let you control the thickness of the ice. A lot of the other ones just make pebbles. This thing makes 4×9 pretty much ice blocks in 15 minutes. I set the timer for 4 hours and remove the ice once and hour and refill. This thing is impressive.

The ice maker arrived undamaged and packed very well. There was a protective film over the stainless Steele casing to protect from scratches and dings. Once I unpacked the product I let it set for 4 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle (this should be done with any type of cooling/freezing devices). I poured in 4 bottles of water (16oz each) and turned the machine on. Within 25 minutes I had my first round of ice! The initial round takes a bit longer as the water has to be cooled as it runs over the coils, but the remaining rounds are right on time with product specs.
The ice scoop is a decent thickness to break the ice apart, but it is plastic so if you choose the thickest ice setting, just know it is a bit hard to break the cubes apart.
Overall, I could not be happier with the product after using it for a week in my camper. Freezer space is limited when traveling, but it’s terrific to have this machine ready to go!
