The water just pools on it until you lift the back of it to pour the water out. It needs to be at an incline more.

We had a much smaller splash guard on our kitchen sink, and I wanted to find one that was a better fit. This splash guard has been a major upgrade. At first, I didn’t really understand why the 90-degree foldable design was a big deal, but it has made a big difference in preventing water from flowing all the way over to the other side of the splash guard – now I couldn’t go back to having one without this feature. We have been using this splash guard for several weeks, and it seems to be doing its job of keeping water away from the grout of our counter, plus it is long enough that two sponges plus a scrub brush can fit on top of it.
The only “con” is that the splash guard doesn’t look quite centered on our sink design, which has two basins of slightly different sizes – but that really isn’t a big deal to me.

This silicone mat is larger than most and it wraps around a single faucet. If you have separate hot and cold levers, this will not work. The mat works great to deflect the water back into the sink. I don’t like the extra strap that wraps around the faucet. It is unnecessary and looks terrible.

I like the design of this splash guard. The extra length allows my entire sink area to have coverage. The water drains away just as described. I am able to place dish soap, hand soap and a pot scrubber on the drain. I cannot get the splash guard to lay flat. It bunches up around the faucet. There is room for it to go around. The cut out is large enough. I don’t understand why it won’t lay flat. But the small raised area on either side of the faucet does not hinder the drainage. This splash guard is certainly worth trying.

Good quality plastic. Great addition for kitchen. It helps to prevent water seeping.
