Y’all I took so long to set this up because I only have so many brain cells LOL please like if this is helpful!! So you’ll have no problems setting up on windows, just plug n go practically, follow your computers prompts. Google Labelife for windows and download. If you’re using standard labels like shipping labels, it’ll auto detect. However, I was using a 3”x2” and it’s not listed in the predetermined sizes, so you need to click “new” on Labelife, set the paper type (I kept screwing up because mine was meant to be continuous black mark labels, which I didn’t notice and thought they were separated by gaps instead). To have your printer auto detect your label, put it in place so it feeds, then press the top feed button. PRESS AND HOLD for TWO flashes if your roll type is sectioned by gaps, PRESS AND HOLD for THREE flashes of the blue light for black mark labels, where there’s black lines behind the label. The label should slither back and forth until the edge rests at the printer’s cut edge. Reminder that this model connects by USB only, no Bluetooth 🙂 super good value and good for small businesses. Doesn’t take up too much desk space, prints quickly (almost too quickly, I get alarmed because I’m a slow and steady kinda person to make sure nothing goes wrong), and the machine isn’t too loud at all, the printing sound is very smooth like “zuuuu” instead of KDJAKDKLABS like regular printers.
