I wore these almost constantly on a 5 day canoe trip. When you’re canoeing, you often need to jump in and out of the boat and can’t be changing shoes every time. Regular water shoes were too thin on rocky river bottoms, but these worked fine and dried relatively fast (not super fast though). I wore them as shoes around camp also with no problem. They aren’t good for hiking though. I tried wearing them while barefoot on a half mile portage and the shoes did fine without hurting my feet or falling apart, I did start to develop a blister and found it much better to switch to hiking shoes on the longer treks. These shoes wouldn’t be good for very sharp rocks like old lava flows

This is not my first pair of these shoes. I use them for my water aerobics classes. I have a narrow foot (B width) and these fit perfectly. I suspect they use European lasts which do fit a little more narrowly. They are a great shoe for me. They last me about a year as long as I don’t pull on the rubber tips of the laces when I tighten them. Those tips can come off. I will continue to buy these shoes. They are prices right, feel good, and they last.

My son and I had gone to Niagara Falls on one of my vacation days. We go there every year. Last year we said that we should have water shoes next time around so that we don’t have to dry our shoes on the AC Unit. One year later, he we are. We’d taken off our tennis shoes and placed these on..(he wanted red, I bought black). as the title of my review states…works as designed and surprisingly very comfortable. It has very good grip on the soles and easy to put on and take off.

Bought these because I was going to be spending a week at several lakes. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 320-330 depending on the day. The only reason I purchased these is because of another “bigger” guy that did a video review and said they were great. I wore these a lot during that week and they’re actually comfortable for a big guy like me. Would I want to wear them every day, all day, no. But the days I did wear them for most of the day, I didn’t have any discomfort wearing these. I’m not sure how long they’ll last, but when they do wear out, I’d definitely purchase them again.

These water shoes were comfortable and did exactly what I needed them to do. The only thing I would warn against are the mixed reviews on size. Some reviews said they ran big and others said they were true to size. I ordered my size and found that they did run a little big. They were still very comfortable.

So I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and I would get the size that it tells you to get. Not the size that you wear currently if you have a narrow foot like I do. Cuz you want it to be skin tight, or even just get a half size smaller than what you normally wear in a tennis shoe. But they’re durable, I wore them to a water park, you can walk in the beach and then just jump in the water and all the sand comes out very easy to wash the sand out of them. The only reason I’m giving this four stars and not five stars is because if you’re constantly putting them on and taking them off the inserts might come out if you pull your foot out. So when you take your foot out you have to put your thumb in and hold down on the insert to take your foot out and then make sure the inserts don’t fall out. But if you wear them all day like they’re intended to, they’re great. I just thought that insert would be in there a little better. Plus they’re not really designed to be worn like a tennis shoe. I would not wear them on hard concrete all the time. If you have foot issues, there’s really no support. But if you’re wearing them at the beach at the lake in a pool, they work great. They protect your little toes from the concrete at the bottom of pools and for the price, These are amazing.

Lightweight and comfortable ,can’t beat the price . 4 stars because this particular brand was a tiny bit tight in size ,would recommend 1size bigger. Also the elastic upper was a little snug on one foot, no big deal will stretch with wear, still can’t beat the price . Great for the vacation resorts , boating jet skiing and can’t be worn like sneakers if need be

I’m a big fan of these shoes. I spend a lot of time in the pool, and the water softens the sole of my feet and can be painful. Wearing these shoes fixed my problem in a snap! They’re comfortable to wear in and around the pool and show no signs of deteriorating after a few uses. They’re probably not good for swimming, but perfect for wading in the pool and messing with the kids.
