I am absolutely obsessed with crunchy ice, and this ice maker has fulfilled my dream of having the same delicious ice experience at home. This little gem is truly magical, producing ice that is soft, just the right size, and incredibly tasty. It may not be as firm as the ice from that famous fast-food place, but it’s still a delightful treat. If you’re struggling to get your kids to drink enough water, this ice maker is the ultimate solution. Trust me, it’s a great product that will exceed your expectations.
This ice machine does produce a slight humming noise, but it’s consistent and doesn’t bother us when we use it on the patio. However, if you use it indoors and stand next to it, it’s a little bit hard to hear someone talking in the next room, but it won’t drown out the sounds of the neighborhood or surroundings. And the best part? Once you maintain a consistent water level, it churns out ice effortlessly. Perfect ice pellets to chew while sipping on your favorite beverage.
Well, it’s not a fridge. The ice tends to melt in the basket (It’s the norm for all ice machines). So it’s crucial to act quickly and transfer the ice from the basket to the freezer. The seller thoughtfully included a few ice bags. So don’t worry, those refreshing ice cubes won’t go to waste at all！

I use to have to get bags of ice for every house party. With this, I no longer need to do so. Our fridge takes almost a whole day to make the equivalent of what this can do in less than an hour. Also, the ice it creates fits better for drinks compared to the bags we would be and what the fridge would make.
The design seems to be top-notch. There is an easy drain plug on the bottom to remove any water left over. If you are looking for an ice maker, a substitute for bags of ice, or your fridge — this is a great solution!

The machine is much more solid than it looks in the pictures, it’s quite compact for a countertop ice maker but has quite a bit more heft than you’d expect for its size. It’s not super noisy. You do get ice quickly but it’s important to have expectations in check about how much usable ice you can produce for drinks with this method. You don’t get regular cubes out of it, you get small easily “crushable” cubes that can be easily munched on. The thing to keep in mind is that these are small and because they have a larger surface area that there are two sides of the thermodynamics coin at work here – they freeze quickly because of this but it also means that the ice thaws quickly as well – they will bring the temperature of your drink down fast but if you like to take your time with your drinks they may melt faster than you’d like.

This unit is an awesome Nugget Ice maker with one exception, it is very loud. If fact it is about twice as loud after a week or so than it was when first turned on. None of the TS advice has worked.

So I plug this in and it started to spit out a couple nuggets after about 10 minutes. If you want a decent amount of ice, you have to continually add water since this machine doesn’t have a large reservoir. I also did not wait for the container to fill with ice before emptying it into a bag since machine itself does not keep it frozen. After about two hours I have a Ziploc bag about half filled with ice. that being said, I do love the Nuggets!

This nugget ice machine makes chewable ice quickly. It’s a great size for one person and doesn’t take up all my precious counter space. I was afraid the ice would melt too quickly but it doesn’t. Love it!

Makes small ice pieces. Not super smooth like sonic ice but about the same size mostly and still really good if you’re an ice eater like me 😅
First batch in just a few minutes and fills up quickly! Machine is pretty heavy for the size and came with no instructions but everything is pretty straightforward. Pour water in, press ice button twice to start. That easy.

So I’ve been hooked on Sonic ice for years now. I read the reviews of this little ice machine and several people mentioned that so I went ahead and decided to try it. Not exactly the same thing. While the sellers seem very nice and helpful and it’s close but not the same. First of all the pieces are much larger than Sonic about three times the size. Now they are pretty soft but because they’re bigger it’s just not the same crunch or as easy to eat. It seems like the ice maker takes an incredibly long time to make one basket of ice. I’ve had mine turning away for 15 minutes now and I’ve heard a couple cubes drop. That being said the ice is good it’s just not Sonic ice. I’ll still be keeping mine cuz it’s good to have a backup but I’ll probably still be going to Sonic as well.
