   I bought this set for my boyfriend he usually wears a large shirt and 36 in pants. I went up 1 size, so I got the (XL) just to be safe because he has a stocky build.
   worked out perfectly. The shirt was a little different than I expected ( i expected it to be a thick shirt or jacket like more of something you can wear open with a shirt under it but the shirt is actually a real shirt feel to it and the whole outfit looks great and has a surprising nice soft, silky and cool texture for a hot summer day.
