truly a mini iron actually plugs into a wall instead of computer port;light shows it is on; you have a button to flip for on and off; not much bigger than a firestick; the color is more of a fuchsia than red; looking forward to using it on crafts.

A whole lot smaller than expected. It heats up super fast and gets pretty hot. There is an on and off switch on the cord which is nice. Great travel size. Fits easily in a purse or suitcase. Lightweight but good quality.
