I have been loving this ice maker, its size and shape fit perfectly at my little bar. It does not fill the entire tray with ice within 7 mins though, more like 10-15 minutes. But that doesn’t mean you cant start taking from the ice that’s already produced. I pour in filtered water to reduce the need of constant cleaning. After a weeks use so far, I haven’t tasted a difference in the ice yet. So I guess it can go awhile if the water poured in is filtered enough. Its quite noisy but that was expected, its making ice. The ice itself isn’t something thick, their like pebbles and when you don’t use plenty, they will melt relatively quickly. They’re perfect enough to get any drink cold though. The self cleaning option is icing on the cake to a well rounded product.

I love the size of the ice it works great in mixed alcohol drinks, soda drinks and for iced coffee. I like that I can shut the machine off at night. Holds alot of water and once the machine gets going it makes a good amount of ice.
DISLIKES: very load. Is this a deal breaker? It depends on your families tolerances with sounds. My family doesnt mind the load noices while making ice so I feel its a keeper. As too the durability, not sure but will update my review in 2024.

I am in LOVE with this ice maker. It’s similar to the small nugget ice you get from certain restaurants. It’s SO ENJOYABLE! It makes ice pretty quick. I just run it for a couple of hours and keep them in the freezer so that I have it on hand when I need it. The fan is to the right and while it’s making ice, it makes a continuous noise but that’s when you know it’s working. The front panel is easy to use.. on/off, add water, ice full. It has a see through top so you can see how full it is. When you are done making ice, there’s a plug at the bottom where you can take off to let the excess water out. It comes with a scooper and extra bags. And it’s the perfect size to leave on your kitchen counter without having it be an eyesore.

We have owned many nugget ice machines since 1st build made the first consumer home product a decade or so ago. Between our office and home we’ve had five GE/1st build makers, a fridgidaire, and a couple others. THIS ONE does the same for less money and is SOOOO much smaller than the others. The size allows it to fit under the cabinets but also further back on the counter. its like a rice maker size almost (a bit higher). That may not matter to some, but if you’ve seen the size of these nugget makers, this is TRULY AMAZING.
Its also quiet- we did not expect it to be so quiet. All of these ice machines make noise, but, this one truly is a little more silent than the rest we’ve had.
The ice comes out chewy and small. All of the machines we have make the ice similarly, and the ice that comes out is similar in style, flavor, and chewiness. That said, this machine does it in a much more compact space and just as quiet if not quieter than most.
Truly satisfied with this machine. Bought it because the listing suggested it was smaller than the others, and it really was. While the size does limit it on freeze time (keeping the ice frozen) compared to some of the bigger ones, it still keeps it frozen for hours.
Posted pictures of it running- for noise and smoothness of ice making. Also put pictures of it next to our rice maker and our other nugget machine (see the difference in size!).
As for amount of ice produced- it keeps up with our demand, so no issues there either.
As a self-proclaimed expert on consumer counter-top nugget ice machines, this one should rise to the top of your list if you need compact and quiet.

I love that its the pebble ice and not the bullets. It is easy to use. Just fill with water (I used filtered) press the button and it starts to ‘brew’ ice. Its not really as loud as claimed; It does make noise but its not that bad and its only while its making the ice. It fills relatively quickly but takes about an hour to fill up completely. The ice bags included is a nice touch. The little scoop attaches to the side of the ice maker with a suction cup which is nice for sanitary reasons. The ice comes out separate so it doesn’t clump, although once you put into an ice bag it may. Nothing a few whacks with something can’t fix. The only drawback is that once it is filled-it doesn’t keep the ice cold. IT IS NOT A FREEZER. That said, if you keep the lid closed it takes awhile to melt so you’ll still have ice for a few hours. It doesn’t take up too much room, either. All told I stay alot more hydrated since I really enjoy beverages with this type of ice and a straw so my water intake has increased (which I needed.) So if you’re looking to stay more hydrated or have fountain-type drinks-this is that machine for you! FYI to drain the unit there is a plug on the bottom. The cord is pretty long so it does reach my sink to drain but otherwise you can simply pull it forward off the counter and put a pot underneath the catch the water.

I love it, I thought at first that the size of the ice was very small, but later I realized that it is perfect, it really starts to make ice after 6 minutes and one thing that I did not know but I really liked is that if the ice melts feed the water again to make more ice, I used it in a meeting I had with friends and it was a success.
